I did a beauty shoot with these amazing Swaroski crystals. It looked like glittery fish scales. Being of the Pisces persuasion I naturally felt right at home. 

I’ve been eying some really cool nails lately and think that’s where I’m headed this afternoon; the nail spa. I love Chanel’s Fall 2012 nail color line (deep black red, cherry red, taupe) and I think if I mix those colors with a cool liquid, Klimt/Mucha design I’m headed in the right direction.  I’ll take my cue from an art deco print I got in NYC. Long thin lines, three colors and a slightly pointed tip. Here is my inspiration so far.

Oakley/Trimera had its SWIM, 2012 runway show two weeks ago in Miami at
the SLS hotel. It was a hit! We had so much fun! It was held at the Hyde
Lounge by the pool at the SLS. Pro surfer Erica Hosseini walked the show, Nick Cannon was the DJ and Lil’Jon was
in attendance! Q/T Habit, my creative co. came up with the show’s
concept, music, and over all look. We used Ford Models, Next models,
Wilhelmina Models, and colab’d with UNO de 50 jewelry. UNO de 50 is an
amazing industrial jewelry line out of Miami on Lincoln Road. Here are
some of the pics!

 

Crowns & Gowns

Inspired by the Victoria & Albert Museum’s Ballgowns:
British Glamour Since 1950s exhibition, Harrods’ Brompton Road
windows are displaying a number of exclusively designed gowns by
some of the world’s leading international designers during the Queen’s Jubilee. To accompany
the gowns, 31 crowns have been made by the likes of Paul Smith,
Valentino, Theo Fennell and the world famous chocolatier William Curley. Watch
the process unfold in a mini-doc of the magnificent crowns being
made.
